When it comes to the heroes of Benghazi Bill Clinton believes the true champion is Hillary Clinton.

Speaking before a crowd in at a campaign stop in Las Vegas on Thursday the former president said his wife’s 11 hours before the Benghazi committee proves she can stand her ground.

“It’s amazing what they put her through,” he told a cheering crowd. “But in those 11 hours she stood with the seventh committee she proved she was tough enough to be president. I don’t think there’s another figure in America (that) could’ve done that.

Kate Quigley, sister of Benghazi victim Glen Doherty, appeared on Fox News’ “The Kelly File” this week to express her disgust with his comments.

Quigley called both Clintons out over their bizarre sense of “misguided sympathy,” recalling how Hillary “comforted” victims’ families by telling them that they should feel sorry for the Libyan people, as the bodies of their loved ones were being brought to the United States.
