Good Samaritan on a NYC subway gives shivering man shirt off his back

A good Samaritan on a New York City subway train, identified only as “Jay,” was seen on video Friday giving a cold, shirtless older man the shirt off his back.

Literally.

In addition to the shirt, which he helped put on the shivering man, the compassionate do-gooder also gave up his wool-knit hat and Facebook user Lazaro Nolasco captured it all on video.

“The guy did a good deed, so I wanted to record it,” Nolasco told the New York Daily News. “I would tell him, ‘God bless him.’ That was thoughtful.”
