Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro tossed her prepared remarks on President Obama’s executive actions to address something that had her “fuming” — the Philadelphia mayor’s “asinine” statement that a recent attack on a police officer had nothing to do with Islam.
“In no way, shape or form does anyone in this room believe that Islam or the teaching of Islam had anything to do with” the execution style shooting of a police officer by a man who claimed to police that he’d done it for Islam, Mayor Jim Kenney said.
Calling Philadelphia a “symbol of freedom,” where “the First Amendment reigns supreme,” Pirro asked the mayor “who are you to tell me what the shooter’s motivations are when your own police department has a video confession of the shooter himself admitting what his motivations are?”
Pirro played a short clip of the police commissioner stating that the perpetrator said he “pledged his allegiance to the Islamic State” and he fired upon Officer Jesse Hartnett for Allah.
“I don’t need you to tell me or lecture me on what I should be thinking because you want to suck up to the commander-in-chief,” she spat out.
“The man is wearing Muslim garb, he has sworn allegiance to ISIS, he told the cops he did it for Allah and ISIS,” she said. “Are you stupid?”
