Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump has decried the new executive actions President Obama is preparing in order to institute more gun control measures.
“I don’t like it. I don’t like anything having to do with changing our Second Amendment.” Trump said on CBS’s “Face The Nation” Sunday referencing Obama’s pending actions.
“There’s plenty of things that they can do right now that are already there,” he told host John Dickerson. “They don’t do them.”
The billionaire business mogul said the failed mental health system is a prime example.
“We are closing places all over the world, all over the country they are closing, but they are closing all over the world,” he said. “Tremendous mental health problems. Nobody is doing anything about that.
“All they want to do is blame the guns, and it’s not the gun that pulls the trigger, so I don’t like it,” Trump said. “I don’t like what he is doing.”
“Here’s the problem. The bad guys are always going to get the guns,” he added. “You can have all the restrictions you want but the bad guys are always going to have the guns.”
