Black Lives Matter causes guy to lose his job over THIS hashtag

If all lives don’t matter, you can be assured that “ball lives” don’t.

At the insistence of the Black Lives Matter movement, a poor soul has lost his job for posting a hashtag on Twitter on New Years Eve:

#BallLivesMatter.

The tweet was posted on the official Twitter account for the Times Square Ball and, sadly, caused quite the uproar.

The tweet was deleted in less than an hour, but that was long enough to spur the perpetually offended activists in the Black Lives Matter movement into action, calling for the head of the person responsible.

And, as proven by President Obama inviting activists from the hate group to the White House Christmas party, they have the clout to get what they want.

Because racism!

A spokesman for New Year’s Eve in Times Square told The Daily Caller the tweet “was unacceptable and indefensible.”

“As soon as event organizers became aware of it, it was removed immediately,” the spokesman said in a statement. “The person responsible was an independent freelancer and will not be engaged again.”

Activist DeRay Mckesson claimed victory on social media after being among the first to draw attention to the sin. Mckesson, who attended Obama’s Christmas party, played a key role, with a heavy assist from the media, in turning the lie known as “hands up, don’t shoot” into a national rally call for cop haters.

The reaction on social media was summed up best by one user: “Nothing like a war on free speech to start off 2016.”

Here’s a quick sampling of responses from Twitter:
