Celebrity Obama yuks it up with Jerry Seinfeld – how presidential

Apparently having no other pressing issues, President Obama starred in the season opener of Jerry Seinfeld’s popular web series, “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”

Not that Obama is a comedian, although he certainly qualifies as a celebrity.

Included among the many off-the-wall questions Seinfeld threw at the president was one about crazy world leaders.

“How many world leaders, you think, are just completely out of their mind?” he asked.

“A pretty sizable percentage,” Obama replied with a smile.

“Some of these people, you must meet them — you’ll just be chatting — and you look in the eyes and go, ‘Oh, this guy’s gone,’” Seinfeld said.

The sheer irony of Obama’s impending response lost on a president who appears more delusion by the day.

“Part of what happens is, these guys, I think the longer they stay in office, the more likely that is to happen,” he explained.

Even in moments of levity, Obama’s penchant for not being truthful rises to the fore.

“Have you ever had one of those George W. Bush… remember when he couldn’t find the door in the wall and he was just looking for the door?” Seinfeld asked at the 11:15-minute mark of the video. “I don’t ever believe that publicly you’ve had one of those.”

“I have not had a public moment like that,” Obama replied.

Except that he has.

On January 27, 2009, in his first week in office, while returning to the Oval Office from a meeting, Obama mistook a pane window for a door, according to the New York Daily News.

Unfortunately for the fibber-in-chief, there are photos of the incident.
