Not everyone, it seems, is wrapped up in Obama’s vacation itinerary, as one man in Hawaii seemed caught off guard by the president’s motorcade in his hometown.
The man was flying a drone in the Oahu area, “completely unaware” that Obama would be traveling back to his vacation home after a round of golf, according to NBC. The drone got a bit too close to the presidential motorcade, prompting the Secret Service to intervene.
In a statement, the Service said the man was unaware and “immediately complied with law enforcement requests to cease and desist.”
No charges were filed after the drone was grounded and the motorcade was not affected by the incident.
