Republicans don’t need to worry about enemies in the other camp when they have such lack of confidence within their own ranks.

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus apparently thinks his party may have a “tough” time holding on to the Senate in 2016, appearing to throw in the towel before the bell even rings.

In a New York radio interview Sunday on “The Cats Roundtable,” Priebus did not seem to exude confidence in the GOP’s ability to keep its majority hold in the Senate in the upcoming elections, reported The Hill.

“The Senate is important. It’s very critical and it’s always tough to hold the Senate,” he said.  “But I think we’re doing everything we can do to that.”

Columnist and Fox News host Todd Starnes commented on the obvious.

Mark Levin’s social media followers were also quick to point out the RINO in the room.
