Woman calls 911, pulls gun on paramedics, fires shots, steals ambulance

An Alabama woman called 911 to complain of dizziness but when the ambulance arrived she had other ideas.

The unidentified woman was put in the back of an ambulance at Birmingham Shuttlesworth International Airport but during the ride she pulled out a gun, fired three shots, and ordered the paramedics out of the vehicle, according to ABC 33.

“After she fired three shots there was a tussle,” Birmingham Fire Chief Charles Gordon told ABC 33. “None of our personnel was injured severely.”

The woman took the ambulance for what officials called a joy ride until she was finally arrested.
