After another spoof of Sarah Palin by Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live, the good-humored former vice presidential candidate has fired back.
This time with a spoof of her own.
Palin released a mock trailer for a parody of “30 Rock,” the show Fey starred in on NBC, called “31 Rock” for conservative news website Independent Journal.
In it, Palin played Lynn Melon, mocking Fey’s character on the show, Liz Lemon.
Palin’s character, a conservative who is “putting the smack down on political correctness,” is the exact opposite of the ultra-liberal Lemon character.
The spoof also stars Palin’s former running mate, 2008 presidential candidate John McCain, and Sen. Lindsey Graham, who dropped out of the Republican presidential race on Monday.
Choices of co-stars aside, this was funny and a well-played comeback.
Watch the parody below from Independent Journal.
