Suffice it to say, Star Wars fans take their business of pleasure seriously.
A late-night 3D screening of the much anticipated new film “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” took a turn toward the dark side when a projector appeared to malfunction.
And moviegoers who’ve eagerly awaited the new film went crazy.
Facebook user Erik Melendez posted a video online early Friday showing people at Hollywood’s Arclight Cinemas reacting to the failure and it’s safe to say they were unhappy.

“Projector at Star Wars midnight 3D show at the Arclight ruined, stopped, then started again towards the end of the movie,” Melendez wrote. “The movie was spoiled and everyone in the theater went crazy.”
For the record, the movie took in a record breaking $120.5 million at the U.S. box office on opening day Friday, according to CNN.
