Glenn Fleming, a Louisiana gunsmith and reality star on the former Discovery Channel series “Sons of Guns” was threatened to be murdered because of his work.

Deborah Lazaroff began by calling Fleming an “ammosexual (someone who feels affection for firearms — I had to look it up), and claimed that there have been 355 mass shootings in the United States so far this year.

Gun-grabbers throw statistics like this around a lot, and often use their own definition of “mass shooting.”

For example, if an armed robber enters a store and kills a clerk, and the robber is then killed by a good guy with a gun, they may count that as a “mass shooting.”

Fleming seemed to take it all in stride and with good humor, which set Lazaroff further off kilter, eventually telling him that if she had one of Fleming’s guns, she’d shoot him, “and it would just be another shooting.”

After laughing it off, Fleming observed that “It’s not people like me, it’s people like you who can’t control themselves. YOU should definitely not own a gun”

OK kids after yesterdays shenanigans figured Id make this post. While the chick was clearly nuts there is no need to call her place of employment.

The police were called and asked what should go on. They suggested that I file a report not so much because of the lady in question (though she is clearly unhinged) but since the post has gone viral there may be anti gun folks looking to get back at me.

So thats the long and short of it. My take away from this is, though people may claim to “want to ban guns for the safety of the people and happy little flowers and kumbaya” that doesnt necessarily mean they are stable in the head.

Im not a big “bash the left” guy as they are entitled to their opinion as much as I am BUT when they start talking of taking away rights or trying to force something down peoples throats I do have a problem.

This is America and everyone should be able to live their lives the way they want. Gun control is a very hot button issue but even when you are pissed off you cant just make threats. Thats childish and apparently, as the lady is finding out, will get you in a lot of trouble.

As to the question of gun control itself. The gun Jeanie is out the bottle, there is no putting it back in. Even if you could magically make all 300+ million guns in the US disappear people would get them from mexico or folks would just start building their own. Im proof building em aint hard to do.
