Conservative pundit Michelle Malkin slammed Hillary Clinton and the liberal media for “demonizing law-abiding Christians” while coddling deadly jihadists.
Addressing liberal backlash against Liberty University president Jerry Falwell Jr’s advice to students to “get your permit,” Malkin told Fox News “Hannity” host Sean Hannity Monday how biased the mainstream media is.
“The political culture and the media is far more comfortable in demonizing law-abiding Christians who espouse armed self-defense than they are in exposing and calling out and demonizing jihadists, who want to kill us by any means necessary!” Malkin said.
Guest Julie Roginsky, a Democratic strategist, ducked Hannity’s question of whether she would want armed citizens in a room if terrorists showed up.
When Hannity noted that he is well trained in firearms and has carried a gun most of his life, Roginsky asked her own question. “Here’s my question: Do you want me in that room? Because I have the same access to guns as you would and I have no idea how to shoot anybody. That’s the difficulty.”
Malkin could not have disagreed more.
“Of course, I’d want every grown woman, in that room to also be trained and armed.” Malkin said.
Calling Falwell’s advice “very commonsense and rational,” Malkin added “being armed in self defense is the great equalizer, whether you’re talking about defending against a rapist or a jihadist.”
She blamed the Left for making the conversation about gun control, and not “jihad control.” “We play into the hands of the progressive left and the gun grabbers” by focusing on gun control, Malkin said.
With scorn, Malkin said that Clinton has “far tougher words for Jerry Falwell” than jihadists such as the terrorists in Benghazi, who are still roaming around free.
“Hello! Let’s talk about the real problem here!” she exclaimed.
