White House Chief Spokesman Josh Earnest said Tuesday that any Republican presidential candidate that supports Donald Trump is unfit to serve, prompting one person to reply, “Only if you admit that Obama is equally unfit.”
“What Donald Trump said yesterday disqualifies him from serving as president,” Earnest said, referring to Trump’s statement that Muslim immigration should come to a halt.
Then Earnest took it one step further.
“And for Republican candidates for president to stand by their pledge to support Mr. Trump, that in and of itself is disqualifying.”
