Attorneys for the families of the San Bernardino terrorist killers held a strange and rambling press conference Friday that was roundly mocked by the panel of Fox News’ “The Five.”
The two attorneys attempted to make the case that the attack was more about workplace violence than terrorism and they even used pop superstar Britney Spears as part of their defense.
“They could go on tour as a comedy troupe,” Greg Gutfeld said of the duo. “They were walking cartoons. They could work at the Department of Justice.”
The lawyers, Mohammed Abuershaid and David Chesley, argued ridiculously that there was no “factual link” between the killers and terrorism and insisted the families had no foreknowledge of the attack.
“They’re pointing to things they saw on Facebook under different account names,” Chesley said.
Anyone of us may have looked at something on Facebook. it doesn’t mean we believe it in,” he added. “I’ve checked out a Britney Spears post and I hate Britney Spears music.”
“Two despicable lawyers,” Eric Bolling said of the attorney’s press conference. “Pure propaganda.”

The assertions by the attorneys have fallen flat as more evidence comes to the surface, the New York Post reported.
Officials revealed Friday that Malik posted a “bayat,” or pledge of allegiance, to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi just before the attack. No actual back-and-forth communication between the jihadist group and the hate-filled couple has been disclosed.
Malik’s post, since being removed by Facebook, went up at 11 a.m. Wednesday, about the time the duo opened fire at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, Calif., killing 14.
The hubby, Farook, had contact with people from at least two jihadist groups overseas, according to a report.
Farook communicated with the al Qaeda-affiliated Nusra Front in Syria and with al-Shabaab in Somalia, sources said, confirming accounts in the LA Times.
