President Obama just made one of the dumbest comments in the history of his presidency, and that’s saying something.
Tuesday while standing on a stage in Paris, where 130 people just lost their lives in a mass shooting carried out by Islamic State operatives, he addressed the Planned Parenthood shooting in Colorado on Friday and said the following.
“I say this every time we’ve got one of these mass shootings. This just doesn’t happen in other countries.”
How tone deaf can one man be?
Aside from the November ISIS attack in Paris the city was also the site of the Charlie Hebdo massacre in January that killed 11.
That’s 141 total dead in Paris via mass shootings.
The death toll from the Planned Parenthood shooting was three.
The statement was so out of touch even ultra-liberal MSNBC host Chris Hayes, an avid supporter of gun control, had to admit the remarks shouldn’t have been made, after much dancing around it.
