Nothing is yet known about the motive or mindset of the perpetrator in Friday’s Colorado Springs shooting , but that hasn’t stopped people — including the media who should know better — from speculating.
Robert Lewis Dear, 59, gave himself up after a shooting spree that left nine injured and three dead. Nothing is known about him other than he hails from North Carolina.
“We don’t have any information on this individual’s mentality, or his ideas or ideology,” Colorado Springs Police Department spokeswoman Lt. Catherine Buckley said, according to Fox News.
Although the shooting took place at the local offices of Planned Parenthood, it’s not clear if the shooting had anything to do with the family planning organization.
Nonetheless, Davis Deery, who accurately describes himself in his Twitter profile as a “moron,” tweeted this — long before the gunman had even been identified:

What people are missing is that the shooting actually began at a nearby Chase Bank. Possibly his motives had nothing to do with Planned Parenthood.

PastaRasta was wrong on this one — the media joined the frenzy also. A local CBS reporter, discussing the shooting, claimed that “More people in this country have been killed by right-wing extremists than radical Islamist extremists.”
What made her think Dear is a “right-wing extremist.” Did she use a Ouija board?

Those were the same adjectives used to describe the Boston Marathon bombers, and they were based on the same information
Now old court docs quote his ex wife saying he was a self pronounced Christian who she claims didn’t follow the bible and and was obsessed with the end of the world prophecy. So Christians are you just going to pretend this never happened, you know, business as usual? This killer was probably a Republican too.
