Fox News host Stuart Varney laced into a Democratic congressman that voted against Thursday’s House bill to pause the Syrian refugee program.
“If one of those people comes into America, that you want to bring in here, and one of them kills an American, will you take responsibility for that!?” Varney asked Rep. Seth Moulton of Massachusetts.
Moulton, a former Marine who served in Iraq, danced around the question until Varney asked it again.
“I take responsibility for my vote and I’m proud of it,” he said.
Moulton insisted that we shouldn’t place “caveats on American values.”
“We don’t have caveats on American security sir!” Varney exclaimed. “We don’t have caveats on American security, of my wife my children, we don’t have caveats on that!”
