Dead! Suspected ‘mastermind’ of Paris attacks finally confirmed as blown to bits; even his family cheers

French prosecutors have confirmed the alleged architect behind the Paris terror attacks was killed during a raid by police.

The remains of Abdelhamid Abaaoud, 27, were identified among the aftermath of the raid that stormed an apartment Wednesday. Reports indicate Abaaoud could have been blown up by a suicide bomb that was ignited by a woman as police approached.

Abaaoud has a long rap sheet and was wanted by both French and U.S. authorities for multiple terrorist attacks including the French train attack that was thwarted by U.S. military members, Twitchy reported.

Despite an international manhunt, Abaaoud was seemingly able to flow freely between France and Belgium with regularity – until now.

Folks on Twitter are rejoicing, but know there’s a long way to go.

Even Abaaoud’s family said they wished the monster dead:

Wish, granted.
