An ex-al-Qaida terrorist turned CIA double agent gave a somber warning and a prediction about the immediate future.
“I believe that within the next two weeks, we will have an attack,” former al-Qaida member Morten Storm told Megyn Kelly on “The Kelly File” Monday night.
“The people who are on the run at the moment from ISIS in Europe are very desperate, and they know their time’s up, and they will need to do as much damage as possible,” Storm said.
He said such an attack would be tougher to achieve in America because of heightened security but the United States is their top target.
“You need to understand their mind, you know, you need to understand the mentality of them in order to defeat, in order to predict what you want to do,” he said. “That’s why I am saying quite confidently that I believe that something within the next two weeks will happen.”
Storm said that “softer targets” like “shopping malls” were most at risk.
He added that he doesn’t understand how it is possible to achieve peace as long as the terrorists still believe in the literal words of the Quran that allows the murder of civilians, including women and children, in the name of Islam.
