Eight ISIS-linked suspects posing as refugees arrested trying to sneak into Europe

Eight suspected terrorists who were planning to sneak into Europe as “Syrian refugees” were arrested, Turkish authorities said Wednesday.

The terrorists were detained at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul after they arrived from Casablanca, Morocco, the state’s official news agency Anatolia reported.

According to Turkish police one of the eight men had a handwritten detailed map showing a path from Istanbul to Germany going through Greece, Serbia and Hungary, according to French news agency AFP.

The men claimed to be tourists who booked hotel rooms in the Turkish city to stay for a few days but authorities found no reservations in their names.
