Baltimore mayor offers home for Syrian refugees; terrorists will feel right at home with ‘space to destroy’

While responsible folks debate the merits of taking in Syrian refugees following last week’s attack in Paris at the hands of Islamic extremists, putting the safety of Americans first, progressive Democrats remain committed to the task of “fundamentally transforming America.”

One of these progressives is Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, who issued a statement on Tuesday encouraging Syrian refugees to consider her city “as a potential place to call home.”

In other news, Baltimore reached a violent milestone during the weekend — the city’s homicide total for the year surpassed 300. An occurrence that suggests those fleeing war-torn Syria may feel right at home in Rawlings-Blake’s city.

The milestone prompted some on social media to ask if the mayor should be focused on other things.

Either way, social media users responding to Rawlings-Blake’s announcement couldn’t help but wonder if she’ll grant ISIS terrorists “space to destroy,” as she did rioters earlier this year.
