This Marine’s raw message to college protesters went viral for all the right reasons

The “plight” of students in the #MillionStudentMarch who demand tuition-free college, and cancellation of their student debt elicited a moment of wry humor from a Marine veteran, who said he also marched for his education.

One huge difference: While today’s crop of student activists demand that everything be given to them, those who chose to earn their college education under the GI bill worked for it — by placing their very lives in danger.

And while today’s whiners also demand “safe zones” where they can be free of “hurtful speech,” our veterans ran from — not to — safety. As one might expect, Erickson’s tweet went viral, and elicited plenty of replies.

The whiney students also drew the attention of “Bearing Arms” editor Bob Owens, whose tweet got a large response:

Keeley Mullen, the national organizer for the #MillionStudentMarch, appeared on “Cavuto Coast to Coast” Thursday. Although she was quick in making her demands, she was at a total loss as to how to pay for them all.
