Republican presidential candidate, Dr. Ben Carson, is deadly serious about his idea of creating a no-fly zone over Syria and he’d shoot down a Russian aircraft to prove it.
Speaking to WHO Newsradio 1040’s Simon Conway, the world renowned neurosurgeon said America cannot “continue backing down” from Russia.
“If they do come in that area, after you give them adequate warning, and you talk to Putin — you shoot them down. Absolutely,” Carson told the host.
“If you shoot down a Russian MiG, what happens next? They will respond, no question,” Conway asked.
“Whatever happens next we will deal with it,” Carson replied. “You can’t continue backing down.”
