Since Food Network stars Giada de Laurentiis and Bobby Flay both announced their respective divorces earlier in 2015 the rumor mill has run wild that the two are a couple.
The rumors got hotter this week when de Laurentiis told Wendy Williams on Wednesday that she does have a new man in her life and didn’t flat out deny it was Flay when Williams asked.
The celebrity chef did however slam the door on those rumors Thursday when she appeared on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live.” Host Andy Cohen said fans want to see the two together because of their chemistry.
“We do get together on Food Network Star,” she told Cohen. “Well, we’re very good friends. We’ve worked for many years together, but I don’t think that’s ever going to happen because I’m smarter than that.”
The gorgeous gourmet said she wouldn’t date another chef.
“Like I said, I know better,” she said. “I’m one of them.”
