If at first you don’t succeed, it’s try, try again for a Latino group that’s not getting its way with NBC and Donald Trump.
Upset that the network refuses to drop Trump for the highly anticipated Saturday Night Live show set to air Saturday, and probably realizing a boycott of the show is pointless, Deport Racism PAC has something new up its sleeve.
The group, apparently awash in cash, is offering $5,000 to anyone who will yell out “Trump is a racist!” during the live broadcast – because they obviously believe it won’t happen unless someone is paid.
“We’re hoping the $5,000 will help people on set or in the studio audience find the bravery to speak out loudly and help focus the national conversation on that we need to deport racism, not people,” organizer for the PAC, Santiago Cejudo told The Hill.
“It’s 2016, and Trump needs to hear that you can’t win the White House without the brown vote.”
No doubt, if wind of this stunt goes viral it will only serve to boost ratings, and the “racist” mantra being hurled at Trump has gotten so old, it will probably stick like egg to a Teflon pan.
It should be noted that Deport Racism is the group reportedly behind the sick and twisted video of Latino children hurling obscenities at Trump. An unbelievably classless move that has outraged many within the large self-respecting sect of the Hispanic community according to feedback on the video’s YouTube page.
Deport Racism might want to change their name to Deport Stupidity, because the backfire element of their actions is mind boggling to anyone with a working brain.
