The mother of a police sergeant who was killed by an illegal immigrant last year has been “pleading” for a meeting with the White House to discuss the problems that criminal illegals poise in the country.

Her pleas have been met with silence.

Mesa, Arizona police officer Brandon Mendoza was killed as the result of a head-on collision with an illegal immigrant who was driving while intoxicated. He’d been living in the United States for decades despite having a criminal record.

“I had no idea what a huge problem this was until it happened to me,” his mother, Mary Anne Mendoza said on “Fox & Friends.” “I don’t want any other American family to go through what I’ve gone through the last year and a half of my life.”

She said she sent three letters to President Barack Obama — so far she hasn’t received any response whatsoever.

“We had been pleading with them to meet with us, to see our faces, to feel our pain and to hear our stories,” she told “Fox & Friends,” adding that it may help them “understand this problem a little better and do something about it for Americans.”
