Welcome to Obama’s America, where anarchy rules.
Four police officers were injured, including a female officer who was viciously assaulted, after a mob of around 200 students gathered after school for a rumble near Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Video that has surfaced of the incident reportedly shows the female officer being dragged and beaten while the contemptible crowd cheered in approval.
The teens had gathered in the vicinity of William Allen High School around 3 p.m. when the brawl began, police Assistant Chief Bill Lake told Morning Call.
“The large groups split up into several different groups,” he said. “Officers found themselves responding to several areas.” As officers tried to pull the fighters apart, some of the boys and girls turned on the officers.
Police said three teens were arrested, according to WCAU TV.
The school district released a statement vowing to deal with those who attacked the officers “to the fullest extent of the law.”
Mayor Ed Pawlowski also offered his support for his officers.
“In a time when actions by police officers are subject to great scrutiny across the country, I believe our officers showed remarkable restraint when their own personal safety was at risk,” Pawlowski said. “Violence against police officers cannot be tolerated. The perpetrators of that violence must be held accountable in the justice system and in accordance with the school discipline code.
“The city will continue to work with the school district on enhancing the safety of children on their way home.”
It’s doubtful that President Obama will make a speech, Al Sharpton will start a rally or Black Lives Matter will stage a protest in support of these police.
