Just weeks after Hollywood left winger Seth Rogen said “F**k you” to Dr. Ben Carson the American people said it right back.
This weekend has been a disaster of epic proportions for the film “Steve Jobs,” the actor’s newest project, which was released to 60 theaters on Oct. 9 but was widely released to 2,493 theaters nationwide Friday. It disappointed big time, Forbes reported.
The biopic of the Apple founder, which cost $30 million to create, grossed a paltry $2.431 million, lower than 2013’s “Jobs” starring Ashton Kutcher.
The film started strong in limited release scoring the fifteenth highest per theater average in history at $130,250, according to Variety, but that was before Rogen’s Twitter tirade.
Fuck you @RealBenCarson.

Following his shot at Carson Twitter exploded with people calling Rogen a racist and demanding the movie be boycotted in protest.

Undeterred by the backlash Rogen told the Daily Beast on Oct. 16 that he was angry at some of Carson’s comments, including his suggestion that the Holocaust could have been lessened if German Jews weren’t disarmed.
“They implied that if their [right-wing] politics were applied to the Holocaust, that Jews wouldn’t have been killed,” Rogen told the Beast. “To me, it wasn’t just about the Holocaust thing. It was about the [Oregon] shooting and how he said that people shouldn’t just stand there and let themselves get shot, and that the correct thing to do if someone has a gun in your back is to point them at someone else and have them go rob that person?
“I mean, I just read a lot of the stuff this guy was saying, and he seemed like someone that I just detested,” the left-wing actor added. “At face value, what he’s said is absolutely despicable. That guy is totally f—ing bonkers.”
Maybe he could have found a more polite way to disagree.
