Ronda Rousey knocks out reporter’s loaded ‘income inequality’ question in one fell swoop

ronda-rouseyRonda Rousey, the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s highest paid fighter, put a liberal feminist reporter in her place — and gave her a lesson in economics at the same time.

During a press conference last weekend, a reporter from the Herald-Sun asked Rousey about income inequality between the sexes.  The bantamweight gave her a knockout punch in reply.

“I think how much you get paid should have something to do with how much money you bring in,” Rousey said. “I’m the highest paid fighter not because Dana [White] and Lorenzo [Fertitta] wanted to do something nice for the ladies.”

Laughter could be heard at that remark.

“They do it because I bring in the highest numbers!” she said to cheers. “They do it because I make them the most money!”
