Meghan McCain: How about we look at the Clinton administration’s role in 9/11

Fox News contributor Meghan McCain thinks the Clinton administration’s role in the 9/11 attacks needs to be examined more than that of George W. Bush.

The daughter of Arizona Sen. John McCain spoke on “Fox & Friends,” responding to Donald Trump’s comments during an interview Friday where he seemingly blamed Bush for the attacks.

“I have the utmost respect for President George W. Bush. I do believe he kept this country safe,” McCain said Monday.

“If anything, we should maybe be looking at the Clinton administration’s role in 9/11,” she said, noting President Bush hadn’t been president for that long.
