CAIR hands out ‘American Muslim of the Year’ award; you won’t believe who won

It must not take much to be crowned the American Muslim of the Year by the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

The Muslim civil rights group presented the award Saturday at its banquet in Arlington, Va., proudly announcing the winner to the world via Facebook as “Clock kid” Ahmed Mohamed.

“I just want to stop discrimination for everyone, not just for religious, but for all races as well,” Mohamed said at the event where he was presented with the award in the shape of a clock, according to the Washington Examiner.

Mohamed is expected to attend Astronomy Night at the White House on Monday, as well.

Not bad for someone who disassembled, then reassembled, a clock into the shape of a suitcase bomb and called it an invention.
