A beautiful poem written by a 92-year-old woman is tugging at the heart strings of millions.

The woman, Wanda B. Goines, wrote the poem about aging and dedicated it to her caretaker Kathryn Clausnitzer Wilson who posted it to Facebook where it has been shared more than 4,600,000 times since she posted it on Aug. 28.

“This is the precious lady I am honored to care for. She wrote this poem, “The Gift-Wrap & The Jewel” be blessed! Her name is Wanda B. Goines, she is 92,” Wilson captioned the video of Goines reciting the poem.

“I looked in the mirror and what did I see, but a little old lady peering back at me,” Goines said to begin the poem.

“With bags and sags and wrinkles and wispy white hair, and I asked my reflection, how did you get there?

“You once were straight and vigorous and now you’re stooped and weak. When I tried so hard to keep you from becoming an antique.

“My reflection’s eyes twinkled as she solemnly replied, you’re looking at the gift wrap and not the jewel inside.”
