Things got physical when a small group of protesters at a Trump campaign rally in Richmond, Virginia, Wednesday began heckling the candidate.
When Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump began discussing immigration policy, a group of protesters loudly interrupted.
Although the real estate mogul took it in stride, his supporters began cheering to drown the hecklers out.
CNN politics reporter Sara Murray reported that before the protesters could be removed, things got tense between Trump’s supporters and roughly a dozen protesters.
“This is not abnormal,” Murray said. “I think what was abnormal was the level of aggression, the level of vitriol we saw.”
