She’s ba-a-a-a-ack!
Gennifer Flowers, Bill Clinton’s former mistress, is back in the news and she’s accusing Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton of being an enabler for the former president’s sexual misadventures.
In a radio interview, Flowers said that although she has accepted her own responsibility for what she says was a 12-year affair, the former first lady “never accepted her responsibility of being an enabler” for her husband’s behavior.
She said that the affair should be an issue in Clinton’s White House run.
“Just because we are women doesn’t make our stories less important,” Flowers told radio host Aaron Klein. “Our stories should come back up with the circumstances, with Hillary running. It should come back to the forefront again.”
Flowers maintains that she had a long-time relationship with the former president, while Clinton, after first denying the affair, later claimed it was an isolated indiscretion in 1977.
She said she has evidence she keeps in a safety deposit box refuting Bill Clinton’s claim, but she has chosen not to reveal it while her mother, who is in bad health, is alive.
“It’s something that he (Bill) is aware that I have and it’s probably the reason that I’m still around,” she told the radio host.
She made these disclosures on the Clintons’ 40th wedding anniversaty.
