Kanye West to perform in Obama’s presence ordered to SHUT UP and sing

Kanye West is set to perform at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in October attended by  President Obama — but there’s a catch.

The rapper, who claims to be serious about running for president himself in 2020, has been told that other than his performance at the Oct. 10 event at the Warfield in San Francisco, he is to keep his mouth shut,   the New York Post reported.

“There will be restrictions . . . Kanye won’t be able to lecture the president about how to run the country,” a source told the newspaper.

The tickets for the afternoon concert in the 2,300-seat arena range from $250 – $10,000 and those attending will hear West perform songs from his upcoming album “Swish.”

“Kanye will be an exciting draw, especially compared to the Republicans booking Wayne Newton or Clint Eastwood. We all know how well that turned out,” DNC member Robert Zimmerman joked.

Either memories are short, or the air may have been cleared between West and the president, who, in 2009 called the hip-hop artist an “jackass” for storming the stage during Taylor Swift’s award acceptance speech.

Social media users, it seems, did not blame Democrats for the order.
