If it’s true that you’re only as young as you feel, then for a few minutes last weekend, a 72-year-old grandmother was every bit of sweet 16.
Since the beginning of her “1989” tour, pop idol Taylor Swift has invited a surprise guest to join her on stage at each venue.
At her Nashville gig on Saturday night, the surprise guest — Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger — surprised everyone in the audience as the duo performed the 1965 Stones classic, “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.”

But no one was quite as surprised — or ecstatic — as the 72-year-old grandmother in the audience. She immediately cried “Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!”
Here’s a couple of Vines that captured the moment Jagger appeared onstage:
A video of the experience was also posted on YouTube. The video’s description noted:
The [Taylor Swift] tickets were purchased a year in advance, not even knowing about special guests. My mom has had a lifelong dream of going to a Stones concert, but due to a serious health issue this past year she missed their tour. It was upsetting to her and a big disappointment … When Mick came out it was like he walked on stage just for her.
And Mom replied:
“My daughter is taking grandma’s moment in the sun well, considering we went to Taylor for her!”
Swift took notice also, and tweeted:

Dreams really can come true — even at 72.
