Hollywood lefty Bette Midler apparently has some unresolved feelings dating back to Ronald Reagan’s presidency, and she’s using the resignation of House Speaker John Boehner to work them out.
“Maybe whoever replaces John Boehner will be even more recalcitrant. Ronald Reagan has a lot to answer for,” the 69-year-old actress and singer tweeted Sunday.
Gee, now I feel awful. Maybe whoever replaces John Boehner will be even more recalcitrant. Ronald Reagan has a lot to answer for.

“Whose paper did you copy off of with the big word?” one tweeter answered.
Actually, they don’t get less recalcitrant than Boehner who rolled over for nearly everything the Democrats and the president wanted. And as far as issues with President Reagan, it’s been over 25 years since he was in office and more than 10 years since he died — let it go. Social media users let her have it.
.@BetteMidler LOL, a person with an obstinately uncooperative attitude. That would be the opposite of bend over Boehner. Thats why hes out.
