The rich get richer.
When it comes to pop culture, Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump scored a key endorsement from “Duck Dynasty’s” Willie Robertson, according to Breitbart News.
Trump was speaking to a large crowd at the Oklahoma State Fair Friday night when he was joined on stage by Robertson.
“Where the hell is Willie?” the candidate asked, before Robertson came out. “Willie, do you love Trump?”
“I do like me some Trump, I gotta admit,” Robertson replied, before naming a few qualities the two men share.
“Here’s the deal,” he told the crowd. “We’re both successful businessmen. We both have pretty big shows on television. We both have wives that are 1,000 times better looking than us, so I like Trump.”
The real estate tycoon warned that America would have to get used to winning if he is elected.
“Our country doesn’t have any victories anymore,” Trump said. “We don’t win. We don’t win at anything. We don’t win with ISIS. We don’t win with China, Japan, Mexico — we don’t win with anybody.”
“And we are going to start winning so much that you’re going to get sick and tired of winning,” he added. “You’re going to get bored of winning.”
While explaining why he decided to run, Trump pointed to 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitch Romney as a key reason he threw his hat in the ring this year.
“Mitt Romney let us down. Something happened to him in the last month,” he said. “He choked, like a golfer he couldn’t sink that last putt. Something happened to him. That was an election that should’ve been won.
“I backed him. He lost. So I said this time I’m doing it myself.”
