Was the Muslim question guy a ‘plant’ to trap Trump? Mainstream media isn’t asking

There’s a new controversy brewing over the man who asked Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump about President Barack Obama‘s being a Muslim at a campaign rally in New Hampshire, as establishment media rush to condemn Trump for not correcting the unknown questioner.

The theory is this: establishment Republicans are in such a panic over Trump’s success that they are trying anything to do him in.

“We have a problem in this country. It’s called Muslims. We know our current president is one, we know he isn’t even an American,” the questioner told Trump. “When can we get rid of them?”

“A lot of people are saying that bad things are happening out there,” Trump responded.

By avoiding the question, Trump failed to condemn radical Muslims. Had he defended Obama, he would have been condemned for that. It was a lose-lose for him.

Some media personalities seem to agree that not only was the person who asked the question a plant, but he’s a regular caller on the Dom Imus radio show.

“Bill from White Plains” calls into the Imus show asking for favors and sometimes a job from the host.

Such a person would have the media savvy to pull off asking such a tricky (and loaded) question on a national stage.

Still, the questioner has not been fully identified.
