‘Don’t push me!’: Jesse Watters’ AMBUSH on Bernie Sanders gets super testy

Now that Sen. Bernie Sanders is leading in some polls over Hillary Clinton, it’s only natural that Fox News host Bill O’Reilly would want him as a guest.

But Sanders has apparently been ducking O’Reilly, so “The O’Reilly Factor” sent street reporter Jesse Watters to hunt him down.

“I don’t do ambush interviews, so if you want to talk to us, there’s my press secretary,” said Sanders, who stopped and placed his hand on Watters’ shoulder, then resumed walking.

“Well, I do do ambush interviews and I just had a question for you,” Watters replied, as he tailed the fleeing Sanders.

As they were walking, Sanders appeared to bump into Watters’ outstretched microphone, causing Sanders to flinch and say, “Don’t push me!”

Sanders denied Watters’ accusation of getting “rough” in a you-pushed-me-first schoolyard moment.

As Watters doggedly pursued the senator for several minutes, Sanders continued to ignore all questions—finally getting into an elevator with his entourage.

In the studio, O’Reilly acknowledged that his producers had “called and called” Sanders’ press secretary for an interview before sending in Watters for the ambush.

“We’re obnoxious, but obnoxious for a reason,” he said.

Watch the entire “Watters’ World” segment; Sanders begins at the 3:54 mark.
