Miss Alabama said Republicans should be “terrified” of Donald Trump, but not for the reason you might think.
When Taya Kyle asked contestant Meg McGuffin why Trump was leading in the polls during Monday night’s Miss America pageant, she responded, “I think Donald Trump is an entertainer, and I think he says what’s on a lot of people’s minds, but…”
What came after the “but” didn’t play so well in conservative circles.
“…the Republican party should be absolutely terrified of all the attention he is taking from incredible candidates like Jeb Bush and Chris Christie,” she continued, drawing boos and catcalls from the crowd.

Her final statement revealed her true politics: “If I were a Republican, I would be absolutely terrified of that.” “If.” While the presidential race is still open to many big “ifs,” we don’t have to wonder if McGuffin won. She didn’t.

Trump question posed to #MissAmerica contestant was answered by Dem media talking points. Sad. Biased Pageant.
