Trump stomps Bobby Jindal’s move to use ‘winning’ Charlie Sheen against him

jindalBobby Jindal, governor of Louisiana and a Republican presidential candidate, may have found a risky new campaign strategy to get his name in front of the masses: bashing Donald Trump.

“It’s been a lot of fun, but here’s the problem: Donald Trump is not a serious candidate. He’s a narcissist. He’s an egomaniac,” Jindal said at the National Press Club in Washington on Thursday.

“The only thing he believes in is himself,” Jindal said. “I want to say what everybody is thinking about Donald Trump but is afraid to say.”

“Like all narcissists, Donald Trump is insecure and weak … We know that only a very weak and small person needs to constantly tell us how strong and powerful they are.”

“The only thing Donald Trump believes in is himself.”

Those are full-on fighting words as far as Trump is concerned, but Jindal was just getting started.

Jindal released a campaign ad mocking Trump, and later said Trump’s hair looks like “he’s got a squirrel sitting on his head,” after he heard the billionaire’s contentious remarks about fellow GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina’s appearance.

Trump took the bait and went after Jindal on Twitter, which seems to be his favorite avenue for unleashing attacks. In a contradictory tweet, Trump responded to Jindal by saying that he only “responds to people that register more than 1 percent in the polls.”

Trump got a quick response from Jindal, who egged him on.

Touché! To be continued?

Absolutely.

Jindal followed up Thursday evening with a tweet-beatdown.

Just in case Trump didn’t hear Jindal’s full remarks about him the first time, Jindal posted his speech:

And Jindal was still at it today.

Dang!
