When “Duck Dynasty” patriarch Phil Robertson took the stage at Wednesday’s Stop Iran rally in Washington, he blasted President Obama’s proposed nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic, but afterward he had a curt piece of advice for Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton too.
And it could have come right out of the Bible.
“Repent and turn to God and do what’s right,” he told the embattled former secretary of state.
Clinton, as a former member of Obama’s cabinet, is in favor of the Iran deal, which Robertson shredded in his speech.
“I don’t do deals with individuals whoever they are, when they’re hollering at the top of their lungs when I walk out the place where we’re doing the deal, and they’re saying: ‘Death to you! We’re going to kill you,’” Robertson said.
“That’s the last bunch you want to have nuclear weapons.”
Meanwhile, Clinton’s story regarding her emails while in office seems to change on a weekly basis, from “I never sent nor received any classified information,” to “They weren’t marked classified when I received and sent them,” to “I made a mistake.”
“I made a mistake” is a long way from repentance.
