A California woman caused a bizarre accident on a busy road by jumping out of her car and allowing it to roll into oncoming traffic, and it was all caught on video.
The allegedly drunk woman, identified as 22-year-old Jasmine Lacey, abruptly stopped her car Tuesday afternoon along a busy stretch of road in San Bernardino, narrowly avoiding being hit by the driver behind her who had a dashcam running. But the shocking part happened next, according to the San Bernardino Sun.
The woman casually got out of the car and began walking along the road while her car continued to roll, eventually veering into oncoming traffic where it hit two SUVs before going off the road and stopping when it hit two trees.
Lacey was booked for DUI but released Saturday, as authorities said they had insufficient evidence to support the charge.
Video of the incident has been viewed more than 800,000 times.
