‘Hot Kebab Girl Meltdown’: Woman freaks over order mistake, but did she deserve what happened next?

food-orderAn irate customer upset with a restaurant for not getting her order right has become a sensation on social media, not so much for her meltdown as for what happened immediately afterward — all of which was captured on video.

While her manner may have been less than pleasant, the woman appeared to have a legitimate complaint. Or did she?

The unidentified woman is seen in a YouTube video titled, “Angry Hot Kebab Girl Meltdown,” berating restaurant staff for putting green peppers on her order when she had asked for red peppers.

“My kids don’t eat green things, they eat red peppers,” she screams while slamming her hand on the counter.

Adding to her frustrations, the employees were apparently speaking to each other in a language other than English, which is often seen as rude in a business setting. Adding more fuel to the fire, the woman is told it will take 15 minutes to correct her order.

“Fifteen minutes?” the woman shrieks. “I don’t have 15 minutes for you not to know English, not to get it right the first time. You get it right the first time, the customer is always right.”

As she gathered her order and turned to leave, she was so preoccupied with lecturing the employees that she didn’t pay attention to how close she was to the door, and slammed right into it.

Talk about a head of steam.

Watch the video and see whether you agree that she was in the right, or think that she was being obnoxious and got her proper comeuppance in the end.
