Facing the truth about abortion can be tough for some people — especially Democrats.
The pro-life Susan B. Anthony group invited more than 2,000 Democratic staffers as well as media to a screening of undercover Planned Parenthood videos that show the abortion outfit selling parts of aborted babies — but fewer than a dozen staffers accepted.
The videos were shot by the Center for Medical Progress, and led to investigations and calls to defund Planned Parenthood.
Was selling parts of slain babies enough to outrage the small number of Democrats on hand for the screening, who were outnumbered by members of the media, according to the Daily Signal?
Short answer: no.
Marjorie Dannenfelser, Susan B. Anthony president, told the Daily Signal that Democrats who did come “came only to disrupt and to over-talk, and they left right away when they realized that wasn’t going to work.”
Just to make sure no one changed his mind, Planned Parenthood had members on hand to distribute pro-Planned Parenthood materials. They showed how much pride they had in their work by hiding their faces from cameras.
It won’t stop Dannenfelser and her group from spreading their pro-life message.
“We’ll continue to make sure this footage gets into the offices it needs to,” Dannenfelser said, “and we’ll continue to communicate and lobby until this is done.”
