‘You ain’t going nowhere’: Angry mob of cyclists block woman driver, smash up her car

A group of San Francisco bicyclists got into a heated altercation with a motorist that quickly escalated into violence.

A video posted to YouTube Saturday shows the cyclists, part of San Francisco’s monthly Critical Mass bike ride, surrounding a woman’s car to prevent her from moving after they claimed she hit one of the riders.

The incident is purported to have occurred Friday, as the unruly group cursed and yelled “You ain’t going nowhere” at the obviously frightened woman who tried to drive away but was blocked in.

Eventually, the driver was able to bypass the brazen bikers but, as she drove away, one of them smashed her driver’s side window with a bicycle lock.

San Francisco police told the San Francisco Chronicle that they are aware of the video and are looking into it with ZipCar, the owners of the automobile.

City supervisor Mark Farrell told KGO-TV that violence will never be accepted in San Francisco.

“The actions by the cyclists caught on video this past Friday evening participating in Critical Mass are disturbing and should never be tolerated in our city,” he said. “Especially the one cyclist seen attacking the vehicle with a bicycle lock repeated times.”

The cyclist who smashed the window better hope he’s an illegal immigrant so San Francisco police can let him go.
