PC profs formalize punishments for using banned words — there are no female illegal aliens?

class-freedon-2Professors are now demanding total political correctness or students’ grades could suffer.

Freedom of speech continues to come under assault at the place where the unfettered exchange of ideas should be the most expected — but is least respected, in the PC world we live in.

It’s taken to extremes in some Washington State University classes.

Use the terms “illegal alien,” “male” or “female” in Professor Selena Lester Breikss’ class in Women & Popular Culture and you may be removed from the class, fail the assignment or fail the entire course in extreme circumstances.

Sterling Beard, editor-in-chief of Campus Reform, explained on “Fox And Friends” Saturday that the policy comes from “a desire to keep classroom healthy and in a good learning environment,” but instead tends to influence students’ opinions.

Examples of other professors making similar policies at Washington State included banning the word “illegal” and mandatory student reflection on “white privilege.”
