Trump just roasted ‘perv, sleazebag’ Anthony Weiner to everyone’s delight! ‘Bing bing bing’

trump-weinerVoters have one certainty in the crowded 2016 presidential race: that Donald Trump will tell it like it is — unfortunately for Anthony Weiner.

While talking about Hillary Clinton’s emails at a Boston fundraiser on Friday, Trump mentioned long-time Clinton aide Huma Abedin, who has also been drawn into the controversy, according to The Hill.

Before long, the Republican front-runner was taking pot shots at Abedin’s husband, former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner.

“Who is Huma married to?” Trump asked those in attendance. “One of the great sleazebags of our time, Anthony Weiner.”

Weiner was involved in a 2011 “sexting” scandal in which he sent and received sexually explicit material via social media, and was forced to resign from Congress.

Trump told the audience he had known Weiner for a long time, since even before the “bing bing bing” stuff — a humorous reference to the texting.

“And he was a bad guy then; it turns out that he was a really bad guy,” Trump said.

The real estate tycoon then suggested it’s highly likely Abedin was sharing information with her husband.

“So, Huma is getting classified secrets,” Trump said. “She’s married to Anthony Wiener, who’s a perv. No, he is! Do you think there’s even a 5 percent chance that she’s not telling Anthony Weiner … what the hell is coming across?”

A quick look at the reaction on social media to Trump’s comment shows why he is so popular with the folks. Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
